Barbara uses positive training methods which creates a stronger bond between owner and dog through motivational games and also specializes in rehabilitating behavioral problems.  She is a strong believer in teaching the dogs how to fail and continue to learn through making mistakes instead of shutting down.  She prides herself on the dogs she trains rising to the challenge of finding out what will get them the reward and learning to make the proper decisions.  Barbara does not use choke or prong collars and does not believe in dogs listening to owners from fear based training.  She wants the dogs to make the proper decisions and have relationships with their owners based on trust.  Barbara's support for her students doesn't end when they leave their class.  She continues to help them with problems that arise at home and is happy to coach them at trials.
